What it does

The Simple tab shows what matters: say, guild, whispers and party; your loot, money, reputation and skill-ups; system messages, NPC whispers and boss warnings. No General, Trade, LocalDefense or Services channels. Your General tab still shows everything.

The Whispers tab shows only whispers, yours and theirs, Battle.net too.

3 days of history: what's said in your Simple and Whispers tabs comes back after a /reload or the next login, with the time and a clickable name so you can whisper them again. Switch characters and the conversation is still there.

The magnifier button opens Chat history: search by word or name, and pick which characters and which kinds (whispers, say, party, guild) to show.

How to use it

Open the ≡ menu → Chat & favorites and tick Simple chat tab and/or Whispers tab.
Every character you log in on gets the tab once. Change it however you like; your changes stick.
Click the magnifier by the chat window (or /scry search) to search.

Good to know

The chat tabs are off until you tick them: ScryWoW doesn't touch your chat until you ask.
History is saved on your PC only and cleared after 3 days. /scry chat clear wipes it now.

Its switches

Every part has its own off switch. In the game: the ≡ menu next to the sidebar tabs, under Chat & favorites. Or set them on the website under Game Menu → In-game settings, then Export to game.
