Your leveling plan, in the game

Build a plan for your character on the website, then take it into the game. The steps show where you're at and tick themselves off as you play.

What it does

On the website you tell ScryWoW who you want to be and how you like to play: race, class, spec, role, and whether you're leveling fast, for the scenery, solo or with friends. It builds a plan for that character: zones, quests, talents, class quests, gear and professions, level by level.

In the game, that plan lives in the My plan tab and in the bigger ScryWoW window. Each step shows its status straight from the game: in your quest log, ready to turn in, 2/5 done or not started. When you finish a step's quests it checks itself off, even quests you finished before you installed the add-on.

Steps for an area you've out-leveled drop off on their own, and the Filter button hides what you don't care about.

One download holds every character you made on the site. When you log in, the add-on picks the right plan by name, or by race and class.

How to use it

  1. Create your character on the website. Free, no sign-up.
  2. Get the add-on from CurseForge (or the Add-on page).
  3. On the website click Copy for game. In the game open Options → AddOns → ScryWoW (or type /scry import), paste, click Import, then reload.
  4. Open the My plan tab, or right-click the ScryWoW minimap button for the big window.
  5. Want your progress on the website? In the game click Make export text and paste it on the site under Import from game.

Good to know

  • Add-ons can't go online, so plans travel by copy and paste. Changed your plan on the website? Copy it again.
  • Your add-on settings travel with your progress too, so a new PC picks up where you left off.
  • It's a checklist, not autopilot. ScryWoW never plays for you.

Craft your own path

ScryWoW doesn't try to replace your other add-ons. It keeps the game's own look, adds a little where it helps, and every extra has its own off switch. Start with a plan for your character, then take it into the game.
